These Terms of Use govern your use of the Saintly companion applications and related services. By using an app, you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
1. AI-Generated Companion
Saintly provides AI-generated reflections inspired by curated writings, speeches, biographies, and historical themes. A companion does not claim to be, channel, or speak with the authority of the named saint or historical figure. Responses may contain errors and should be evaluated thoughtfully.
2. Not Professional or Emergency Advice
The service is for general reflection, education, and encouragement. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, pastoral, crisis, or emergency services. Contact qualified professionals or local emergency services when appropriate.
3. Subscriptions
Paid features may be offered through an auto-renewing App Store subscription. The price and billing period are displayed before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, use it to violate the law, or submit content that harms or exploits others.
5. Intellectual Property and Historical Material
The app software, branding, and original presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Historical quotations and public-domain material remain subject to their respective legal status and attribution safeguards.
6. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary. AI and voice services depend on third-party providers and may occasionally be unavailable. Where available, the app may provide a fallback voice workflow.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that every AI response will be complete, historically precise, or suitable for a particular purpose.
